From Vision to Venture: The Experitur Narrative

Veteran hotelier Sam Kirsch established Group One West to demonstrate that tourism can serve as a catalyst for ecological restoration rather than degradation. Experitur Inc. operationalizes this framework. We are convening a multidisciplinary coalition—academics, investors, technology innovators, and forward-thinking travelers—to develop a carbon-negative, culturally immersive ecotourism resort on British Columbia’s west coast. Conceived as both a living green-energy laboratory and a climate-regenerative education centre, the project integrates Indigenous knowledge systems with cutting-edge clean-tech demonstrations, creating a model that is simultaneously commercially viable and scientifically instructive.
